Friday was an exceptional day for Carrick RFC and all who volunteer and support the club, as we were recognised as the SRU’s Community Club of the Season (Glasgow South) at a special awards ceremony held at Murrayfield, where celebrations were also underway for Murrayfield’s 100th Anniversary. A great day was had by all, where the stories shared around rugby and its significance in people’s lives, were a heartwarming reminder of the longevity and strength of the communities built around the game.
