ARIA Funding

Carrick RFC have been successful in gaining funding from the Ayrshire Rural & Islands Ambition Fund, ARIA for short. The project will support the continued employment of a Rugby Business Development Officer (RBDO), with extended hours, average 4 days per week for 5 months.
The role has been introduced to help deliver a more sustainable future for
the club as it develops as a Social Enterprise, and thus the funding from ARIA will allow the role to continue for a substantial length of time. The RBDO will now look to work alongside SAC Community Wealth Building to deliver a fully costed and deliverable 3-year business plan.
The club has also since been awarded £2000 by CWB to fund consultancy fees for this purpose, which will allow the ARIA-funded Business Development Officer to begin the task of developing a business plan for the club.

Ensuring that our aspirations to become a financially secure, sustainable organisation, are
aided by a professionally constructed business plan.

Increased focus on the business development strategy will allow the club to continue
its primary function of promoting health & wellbeing through rugby in the Carrick area.
